What happens in an integrative consult?
Your consult brings together two assessments and one shared care. The two parts may be on the same day or on separate days.
1
Medical history & medication review
Presenting concerns, medical and family history, and current prescriptions, supplements. See 360 doctor consult and laboratory testing ordering.
2
Chinese medicine assessment
Dr Veronica Sun reads your pulse and tongue and asks about your sleep, digestion, energy and, for women, your cycle. In Chinese medicine, these patterns guide which points and herbs suit you.
3
First acupuncture session
Your first session is also part of the assessment: how your body responds helps Dr Veronica Sun tailor your treatment from here. Learn more about the treatment.
4
Your integrative plan
Recommended next steps, which may include tests, medical treatment, acupuncture or herbal medicine, with follow-up arranged as needed.
After your consult

Western medicine & lifestyle support
Medical care from Dr Andrew where needed, from medication to follow-up reviews and tests, with practical support for sleep, movement, nutrition and stress.

Chinese medicine & acupuncture
Ongoing acupuncture and herbal medicine with Dr Veronica, building on your first session and tailored to your pattern as it changes.

Skin & body treatments
For skin or body concerns, treatments such as Aerolase laser, microneedling with exosomes or Emerald laser can be added to your plan when clinically appropriate.
