We order targeted blood tests and imaging to explain your symptoms, provide predictive information, and build a treatment plan personalised to you.
What we test

Our approach
Test with intention
Standard testing often flags borderline results in healthy people, leading to unnecessary anxiety, repeat tests, and investigations you never needed. Clinical context is everything.
At Sun Health Clinic, we test with intention. Dr. Andrew Sun starts with your symptoms, history and goals, then orders only the biomarkers that are most likely to explain what’s happening and how to treat next.
How it works
Instead of a one-size-fits-all panel, Dr Andrew Sun selects the laboratory tests that will give you the most accurate picture of your health.
2
Tests referral
You receive a referral for the tests, which may include blood, urine or stool tests or imaging. If a test isn’t covered by Medicare, we’ll tell you before it’s ordered.
3
Samples & imaging
Convenience is key. You can collect samples at a pathology centre of your choice and complete imaging at a radiology clinic near you.
4
Your integrative plan
We review your results and build a plan. This may include medication, specialist referrals, lifestyle adjustments or a referral to Dr Veronica Sun. See integrative consult.
After your consult

Western medicine & lifestyle support
Medical support from Dr Andrew Sun, including medication, follow-up testing, and practical guidance on sleep, movement, nutrition and stress.

Chinese medicine & acupuncture
Ongoing acupuncture and herbal medicine with Dr Veronica Sun, building on your first session and tailored to your pattern as it changes.

Skin & body treatments
For skin or body concerns, treatments such as Aerolase laser, microneedling with exosomes or Emerald laser can be integrated to your plan when clinically appropriate.
Already had tests or scans?
To avoid duplication, please bring any test results or imaging reports from the last 3 months to your consult. If they are recent and relevant, we will use them rather than repeating them.
